Candace Cameron Bure is one proud mother right now after her daughter, Natasha Bure, conquered her nerves and auditioned for The Voice—successfully!
The Fuller House star's daughter sang in front of Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys for a spot on one of their teams, and the coaches were impressed by the 18-year-old's chops.
"My mom doesn't know too much about the music industry because she's not musically gifted," the teenager confessed before the audition, where she was supported by both her TV star mother and hockey player father—and a special video message from her mom's TV family, Bob Saget and John Stamos.
After a few nervous tears, the recent high school graduate stepped out on stage for a creative version of "Can't Help Falling in Love"—and managed to get Adam to turn around before finishing the first verse. Unfortunately, in her excitement she faltered a bit—but Adam and the rest of the coaches seemed very excited about developing her voice into a potential winner.
"I'm so, so proud. I can't wait to see the show premiere and get to see where she goes," Candace told E! News at a pre-Emmys party a few weeks ago. "She's really pursuing singing right now."
Don't expect to see a mother-daughter duet any time soon, however. "God gave her her voice," Candace revealed, "because my husband and I don't sing!"
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
