Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed an extra special visit during the second day of their Royal tour of Canada on Sunday, spending time with children around the same age as Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Sheway in Vancouver, a program dedicated to pregnant women as well as women with infants under 18 months who are battling drug and alcohol addiction.

They met a 5-year-old named Hailey at one point during the visit. The toddler had been taken away from her mother as a baby due to drug issues but was reunited with her at 3-years-old with the help of Sheway.

Hailey presented the couple with incredibly thoughtful gifts for George and Charlotte: two teddy bears, customized in red and black vests.

"I love your dress, it's so pretty," Kate told Hailey while accepting the teddies. "Thank you so much! Charlotte will love this. She loves her teddies."

William added, "George too, he's a big fan, thank you so much. You're all such well behaved children," he told the group of toddlers and babies taking part in the session.

The couple was also invited to listen to a read-along, during which a Sheway staff member read to children from the picture book Sharing our World: Animals of the Native Northwest Coast.

One of the mothers arrived a bit late to the reading session, apologizing to Will and Kate as she held her baby. "Sorry, we just had a little accident to clear up before meeting you," she said.

Being the father of two little ones himself, William laughed, "No worries at all, we know all about that!"

Will and Kate brought Prince George and Princess Charlotte along for their tour of Canada, which began on Saturday.

"Catherine and I are delighted to be back in Canada," Prince William said in a statement at their official welcome. "When we were here last time, we had been married only three months. The warm welcome that you gave us at that important moment in our lives meant a lot to us—and we have never forgotten it. That is why we are so pleased that George and Charlotte can be with us in Canada this time round, beginning their own lifetime of friendship with this wonderful country."
