We ranked the posters for the fall TV season's new and returning shows

If you're anything like us, you're fully in fall mode by now. 

That means you're three weeks deep into your daily pumpkin spice blood transfusions, you're carrying around dried leaves to scatter in front of you so they crunch underneath your boots, and, prompted by your quickly filling DVR/Hulu queue, you respond to all billboards, commercials, and posters for fall TV shows with a confident, "I KNOW ALREADY!!" 

That's just what happens to us when September rolls around, bringing with it our sense of being in the form of TV shows—new episodes, every night of the week, just like we've been promised endlessly all summer. 

So now that we don't need those pesky ads anymore, it's time to make fun of them.
