Congratulations are in order for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds!

Sources confirm to E! News that the superstar couple have welcomed their second child together. "They are so excited," an insider says. The New York Post's Page Six first reported the baby's birth Friday, adding that Lively's pal Taylor Swift was heading to a Manhattan hospital to pay the happy family a visit. Details, including the newborn's name and sex, were not immediately available.

Last month, Lively celebrated their little one's upcoming arrival with an intimate baby shower. A source confirmed at the time that the celebration was held at the Bedford Post Inn in New York. Guests started arriving around 11 a.m. local time and enjoyed the 90-minute gathering in the heart of Westchester County.

As for who scored a special invite, the guest list was kept pretty private, but E! News confirmed that Swift was in attendance for the fun event.

Reynolds couldn't help but joke about his wife's growing baby bump in late August when we spoke to the actor at the Eddie Bauer and American Forests for the One Tree Initiative event about his love of being outdoors.

"My wife is just extraordinarily pregnant right now, so there's not a lot of hiking in her immediate future—nor do I think it's going to happen the second she gives birth, either," Reynolds said with a slight smirk. "I'm told there's some recuperation that's needed." Ryan added that with its excessive heat and humidity, August is "the worst month on earth to be pregnant."

Lively would certainly agree. As she joked with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, "It should be illegal to be pregnant in New York in July...I swear, I'm going to make my water break just so I can cool down."

Regardless, Reynolds told E! News, "There's nothing on earth more grounding than having a baby. It's the best thing that could ever happen to someone."

So, does that mean more babies in the future?

The hunky star has been open about the couple wanting to have a large family in the past. "We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families—my parents did four, Blake's did five," Ryan once gushed to Details magazine. "A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know?"

For now, these famous parents can enjoy having two little ones running around the house.
