Adele Can't Believe Her Brangelina Comments Went Viral: "I Couldn't Give a F--king S--t"

Singer backtracked on her prior concert dedication in NYC Thursday evening

Remember when Adele led a group therapy session that practically healed all our open wounds surrounding Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's shocking split? Yeah, she was completely joking about all that. 

In case you missed it, the Grammy winner dedicated her Madison Square Garden gig on Tuesday to the longtime celebrity couple, calling the split the "end of an era," and telling audiences, "I was shocked when I woke up this morning." 

Well, the British songstress had us pretty damn fooled because, during Thursday's NYC performance, she backtracked on her since headline-stealing comments about Brangelina.

"I would like to say I think it's a bit sick you're reporting on an absolute joke," Adele told concertgoers. Ouch.

The queen of breakup ballads continued, "I don't care if they've broken up. I couldn't give a f--king s--t." It made me out like I was heartbroken... I don't care. I don't know them. It didn't work out. Break up if it doesn't work out; that's what I always do. Don't work out? You leave him."

And as if we needed more proof that Adele hasn't lost a wink of sleep over their divorce drama, she added, "So I wish them both the best but I don't care. And to be honest, I don't think they really care what you've all got to say. It's ridiculous, what's going on in the world, and that's front-page news."

The "Hello" crooner then concluded, "I know I try and tell a lot of jokes and maybe my delivery's not always spot on. I'm not an actual comedienne so my timing isn't always great. I didn't mean it. As if I went home crying that night about it, it's ridiculous."

Another Hollywood insider not lamenting the end of Brad and Angie? In a recent interview, Samuel L. Jackson expressed his own disinterest in the topic, admitting, "It's life. You know people carry on. People do what they do... I don't know why it's everybody's business, or why people care anyway."
