Pharrell Williams is about to experience a double dose of fatherhood!
The singer-songwriter and wife Helen Lasichanh are expecting their second child together, a rep for the star confirms to E! News. A source tells us the baby news comes as a warm welcome for the longtime lovebirds, who had "been wanting another child for a while."
In 2008, the married couple welcomed their first child, a son named Rocket Man Williams.
Pharrell, 43, and Helen, 36, were in attendance at Chanel's No 5 L'Eau fragrance celebration Thursday evening in Los Angeles, where the model rocked her growing baby bump in a colorful striped frock. The father-to-be stuck close by his wife's side for multiple photo opps, sporting an equally as stylish patterned jacket and fedora.
And when the couple's newest bundle of joy is born, we can all rest easy knowing their little guy or girl will have plenty of bedtime stories to look forward to. Williams wrote and published his own children's book Happy last year, inspired by his 2013 mega hit of the same name.
Pharrell's creative content platform i am OTHER also recently launched a back-to-school collection with creative supplies and stationery company Yoobi. The former Voice judge told E! News exclusively in August 2016 his motivation for the collaboration stemmed from his father-son relationship with Rocket.
"I had the future in mind... There is huge necessity of community that we just don't have," he explained to us.
Williams and Lasichanh tied the knot back in 2013. Congratulations to the growing family!
