Michael Weatherly may have said goodbye to NCIS, but he certainly hasn't said goodbye to TV. So long DiNozzo, say hello to Dr. Bull. Weatherly headlines the new series Bull, which is inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw.
Bull, which is perhaps the most CBS series to come along without the letters NCIS or CSI, follows Dr. Jason Bull, an expert trial consultant. He knows what people are thinking before they do. The show also stars Hamilton's Christopher Jackson as Chunk Palmer, Geneva Carr as Marissa Morgan, Annabelle Attanasio as Cable McCory, Jamie Lee Kirchner as Danny James and Freddy Rodriguez as Benny Colon.
While Dr. Bull may have three Ph.D's, he still needs his staff, especially Jackson's stylist.
"We each have our own special skillset," Jackson told us at the CBS TCA party. "Chunk Palmer, I come in and I am a stylist and studying the way people dress and nonverbal communication and how that then affects the way someone is viewed."
