A Timeline of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Last Few Months Together

Couple hasn't been spotted together in a while

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have called it quits, much to the surprise of everyone.

The Tomb Raider actress filed for divorce Monday, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause. After two years of marriage and a total of 12 years together, the divorce came as a major shock, especially since it seemed like these two were a picture-perfect pair with their six kids.

Perhaps a split was looming, as the pair hasn't been seen in public together since July 12 when they took their twins, Knox and Vivienne, out for a birthday breakfast in West Hollywood. They were also spotted looking incredibly lovey dovey inside a Jamba Juice just two days before that. But let's take a trip down photographic memory lane to see what these two were up to before calling it quits. 

May 6, 2016: Pitt films scenes in London with co-star Lizzy Caplan for their upcoming film Allied. 

May 16, 2016: Not too long after, Jolie gives the keynote address on the global refugee crisis at the BBC Broadcasting House in London. 

May 25, 2016: Jolie was spotted in Los Angeles going grocery shopping with her daughter Vivienne while Pitt continued to film Allied, this time on the Canary Islands.

June 18, 2016: While Jolie spent some time with her children in New York, Pitt flew to France to attend the 84th Le Mans 24-Hour endurance race.

June 20, 2016: UN High Commissioner for Refugees Jolie traveled to Washington to speak at the State Department. She met with Secretary of State John Kerry to honor World Refugee Day.

 

July 4, 2016: Back together again! The now-estranged couple were spotted shopping together over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. 

July 10, 2016: Just one week later, the couple seemed so in love inside a Jamba Juice, where Pitt wrapped up Jolie in his arms. 

After those romantic dates, the couple resumed their separate travels. Pitt was spotted in Manhattan on several occasions while Jolie stayed in L.A. with the kids. 

Eventually Jolie made her way to London and Jordan as part of her humanitarian mission.
