Game of Thrones took home the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy at the 2016 ceremony, much to the surprise of one its stars.
"I couldn't actually believe it," Sophie Turner told E! News' Erin Lim at the HBO party. "I really thought Mr. Robot was going to win, but we won! Happy days."
Turner, known to millions of fans as Sansa Stark, said she was going to dance, eat and party the night away with her cast. But the 20-year-old wouldn't be stealing any drinks. "Some delicious carbonated water for me," she said.
It's no secret that the end is nigh for Game of Thrones. HBO finally made it official that season eight would be the last. But fear not, there's still season seven to come. And while you're probably feeling the blues over the prospect about life with no dragons, think how the cast feels.
"[I'm] probably sadder than you guys are," Turner admitted. "It's been my life since I was 13, so I'm pretty sad about it. It's crazy when the show finishes I'll pretty much be the same age Kit [Harington] was when he started…which is crazy. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life."
Meanwhile, her costar Emilia Clarke isn't going to be sitting on the sidelines waiting for her next project to come along. Click play on the video to find out what she's got in the works.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO in the summer of 2017.
