Watch: Keegan-Michael Key & Jordan Peele "Had Feeling" About Win

Not only are they comedians, but it seems like Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele may have a future in fortune-telling.

Fresh off of their 2016 Emmy Award win for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series, the comedians and creators of Key & Peele caught up with E!'s Catt Sadler backstage to react to their first big win.

"I'm so lost right now because I honestly didn't think we were going to win," Peele admitted to Sadler. However, the comic noted that they had a funny feeling something good was about to happen when Damon Wayans took the stage to present the category.

"As soon as Damon Wayans got up there, we had this feeling—this is one of our sketch idols up here. This is going to happen. The powers that be, the forces of nature, God is letting this happen right now and then it happened," he explained.

Their intuition was spot on. After going up again what the comedians call "stiff competish"—Portlandia, Inside Amy Schumer, SNL, Drunk History and Documentary Now!—the stars took home the show's second Emmy ever for its fifth and final season.

"We got up there. I have no sense of what we said at all," Key joked to Sadler. Fortunately, we have DVRs to remind him.

"This is crazy," Peele said during his acceptance remarks."We have to thank Comedy Central for putting this on the air."

With an Emmy officially in tow, the men planned some late-night tomfoolery "We're gonna play a little hopscotch. We're gonna go to the Governor's Ball," Key joked to Sadler about their plans for the rest of the night. "Maybe set something on fire."
