It turns out that we have Friends to thank for Matt LeBlanc's return to broadcast television in the new CBS comedy Man With a Plan

The actor stopped by for a chat with E! News' Jason Kennedy on the red carpet at the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, where he revealed that memories of his old job were what brought him back to the multi-cam comedy world after five seasons as the star of Episodes on Showtime. I kind of missed a live audience show, you know, like Friends was, so we put this thing together and Liza Snyder plays my wife and Kevin Nealon plays my brother, and Jim Burroughs is directing, which is great. He stared us off on Friends."

Matt, attending tonight as a presenter, also shared a moment with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke at the end of his interview that started off cute and then got—well, we'll let you be the judge of that. Speaking to each other through monitors as Emilia waited to be interviewed by Giuliana Rancic, Jason asked the two about that awesome selfie she shared after they appeared on The Graham Norton Show together back in June.

"I remember this photo right here. I think I was definitely the fan," Emilia said, still swooning over the experience. "I'm not sure, yeah, I think I was the fan."

When asked if he was similarly a fan of her work, Matt replied: "This is kind of what this whole thing was about. I saw the first season, and I kind of fell out of touch with it. And I guess that's when she started getting naked. So I need to catch up." Alrighty, then.

What do you think about Matt's comments about Emilia? Cute or creepy? Let us know in the comments below.
