Watch: Emilia Clarke Is Dreading the End of "Game of Thrones"

Emilia Clarke, she's just like us—at least, when it comes to dreading the end of Game of Thrones.

The actress, who famously portrays Daenerys Targaryen aka Khaleesi on the hit HBO series, stopped to chat with E! News' Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet at the 2016 Emmy Awards tonight, and she's still coming to grips with the show coming to an end.

"It will be really intense saying good-bye to the show. It will be really, really intense. But it's still a little ways away, so I kinda have time to have it sink in," she tells us. And while it's still early to think of Clarke taking on other roles and saying goodbye to her platinum blond locks and fierceness, she dishes on what she'd like to get into after Game of Thrones wraps up.

"Well, I was really lucky with Me Before You, this movie I did, because I got a little foray into comedy. Lots of tears, but yeah, doing comedy. More of that would be wonderful," she tells us.

As for getting recognized, it shouldn't be any surprise that people are stopping to admire Clarke when she's caught out and about, and it'll never get old to the beautiful star. Emilia shares that she always gets just as excited when fans approach her.

"Yeah, yeah. I do [remember the first time I was recognized]. And it was really bizarre," Clarke says. "I think I was and still I always get just as flustered as anyone else. If they're like, ‘Oh, my goodness,' I'm like, 'Oh, hi.'"

Get used to it, Emilia, because this is just the beginning.
