Jana Kramer doesn't want to be anything other than what she's been tryin' to be lately—which is the winner of Dancing With the Stars season 23. So for week two of the competition, which happens to be TV Week, the actress-turned-country singer is dancing to a very familiar song for longtime fans: "I Don't Wanna Be" by Gavin DeGraw.
Yes, the theme song to One Tree Hill, a.k.a. the show on which Kramer starred as troubled actress Alex Dupre for more than two seasons from 2009 to 2012. And no, we're not sorry for that first sentence. (Okay, maybe a little.)
"All my One Tree Hill-ers out there, this dance is for you! We're so excited," she told E! News exclusively when we visited her at rehearsal this morning.
Kramer's partner, Gleb Savchenko, is choreographing a sexy tango for the pair as they try to take home the Mirrorball Trophy.
"It's going to be an International Tango full of technique, full of steps," Gleb explained. "We're going to make Len [Goodman] happy, we're going to make Carrie Ann [Inaba] and Julianne [Hough] proud of our dancing. … It's going to be sexy but different."
While this might make you want to pop in one of your OTH DVDs, it didn't exactly inspire Gleb to start bingeing the show (you know, in all the free time he has between rehearsals). "No, I've never watched the show. I've watched about 15 minutes of season seven when Jenna was on. I liked it! I watched one scene and that was enough," he confessed.
