Watch: Adrienne Bailon Admits Biggest Regret

It was an engagement set in the city of lights.

It's been a month since Adrienne Bailon first flashed her stunning new sparkler on social media, a signal to all that she had officially said oui—er—yes to her longtime beau, Grammy-winning gospel artist Israel Houghton

On the debut episode of The Real's third season on Monday, the co-host and her husband-to-be took a seat at the panel to walk fans through that special summer night in Paris— which began with a surprise knock on the door.

"I'm actually taking a shower and getting ready for the day in Paris...and all of a sudden I hear this knock on the door," she dished to her fellow panelists. Behind the door were her parents, who secretly traveled to France to celebrate their wedding anniversary. However, they were also useful in distracting Adrienne from an even bigger surprise still ahead.

On a later night, Israel invited Adrienne and her parents to dine on a private yacht. "I asked the captain, because the lights sparkle on the Eiffel Tower every hour for five minutes. Toward the end of that, [I told the captain] make sure we are right by the tower," Israel remembered. "She was looking out the window. I said turn around. I gave her a bunch of these white roses."

As Adrienne documented the evening on Instagram unaware of what was about to ensue, everyone told her to throw the flowers.

"I throw it and he was on his knee," she said. Still, Israel wasn't the only one on his knee.

"I don't know why—when he got down on his knee...I literally looked at you and got down with you," she revealed. "So we both end up on our knees and then he proposed to me and then I was like, 'I'm on the floor. I might as well ask you to marry me, too.'"

Spoiler alert: they each had the same answer. "Guess what—we both said yes," Israel joked.

All kidding aside, Houghton wasn't totally calm. "Of course [I was] nervous," he admitted. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime woman."

All together now: awww!
