Will the real Justin Bieber please stand up?
That's what the "Cold Water" crooner had us asking ourselves when he recently re-tweeted the most nostalgia-inducing video from his younger years.
Adorably dorky and ever-so-naive, when asked where he pictured his then-fledgling career going, Bieber responds, "I see myself doing more R&B, sort of like Usher or Justin [Timberlake] or an old Michael Jackson." Aww!
It feels like just yesterday that the Canadian tween broke onto the music scene with his headline-stealing hairstyle and boy-next-door charm when "One Time" debuted in 2009. And who could forget "Baby?!" Our bowling alley date fantasies still haven't faded after all these years.
And Bieber has certainly achieved what he set out to do since first being discovered on YouTube nearly a decade ago. Sure, he's experienced his fair share of highs and lows growing up in the spotlight, but with as many sell-out crowds he's performed to, music charts he's topped and accolades he's received, Justin ain't doing too shabby.
The Grammy winner is currently taking Europe by storm on his Purpose World Tour, most recently performing in Iceland. Bieber, 22, will wrap the eight-month long tour in late November with multiple performances in London.
Who's to say what mini-Justin would have to say about his future self, but it sure is interesting to imagine. Excuse us while we listen to "One Less Lonely Girl" on repeat for the rest of the day.
