Mean Girls is the movie that keeps on giving. If you celebrate October 3, can quote every line, and are still saving up for two Fendi purses and a silver Lexus, you're living your best life. Oh, and the actor who played the beloved Glen Coco totally approves of your obsession. David Reale, despite moving on from Mean Girls with tons of other roles, says he's still all about the love and attention Glen Coco has brought him. According to Daily Mail, David got the part of Glen almost by accident. He was hanging around the set after not getting the original role he auditioned for and was asked to play Glen Coco instead. Honestly, best decision of his life, right?

Even though we only see the back of his head, everybody knows Glen Coco is just as iconic as Cady, Regina, Aaron and the gang. In fact, he might even be more iconic since we know so little about him. Hmm...could there be a Glen Coco spin-off? That probably would have been a lot better than most people's opinions of Mean Girls 2. Just saying.

Anyone who receives more candy canes than Gretchen Wieners, heir to the Toaster Strudel fortune, deserves the honor Glen Coco has been getting for the past 12 years. Luckily David is more than chill with being recognized for the role, noting "A few times a year the internet goes Coco crazy and I get all these messages and people stop me on the street and take pictures with me and send me fan mail with candy canes." Aww. You go, Glen Coco! Sorry, we had to go there at least once in this article.

David talks about the Internet sensation he's become as well. "It's a pretty joyful meme. People love the Coco. Everyone is really nice about it. And I'm pretty sure it's got me a least one date. So, how can I complain?" Exactly! What a good sport. If you're curious about what Glen Coco is up to now, you can catch him in a new role. David stars in Aaron Posner's play, My Name Is Asher Lev, at the Segal Centre in Montreal, along with the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnipeg. "Come and see some dramatic live theater and then come to the stage door and we can take hilarious pictures with the candy canes and Glen Coco t-shirts you brought with you, you lovely bunch of weirdos," David remarked. Sounds like a great way to ring in the upcoming October 3rd holiday.
