Rihanna has taken her relationship with Drake to the next level in a very permanent way.

The "Work" songstress got a tattoo of a camouflage shark inked on her ankle, and E! News has confirmed that her selection has "special significance" between the two. The camo shark is supposed to be a cute reference to one of Rihanna's dates with the Degrassi alum, who took her to an aquarium in Toronto and bought her a stuffed animal shark. Celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang had the honors of inking RiRi, who shared a picture of the new artwork on Instagram.

"Camo shark for my dear friend @badgalriri," he captioned the pic. "Also... I just found out you can zoom on IG- enjoy :)."

The two have been very public about their romance ever since Sunday night's VMAs, where Drake confessed he had been in love with the "S&M" singer since he was 22 years old. Since then they have taken their love to Miami, where E! News obtained exclusive pictures of the couple packing on the PDA at E11even nightclub.

Eyewitnesses tell E! News that Drake and Rihanna spent the night "kissing, hugging and dancing close to one another" at their VIP table. But while Drake was performing Rihanna looked on and danced her heart out. She "looked to be having a great time," one onlooker told us.

Although they spent the night together, Rihanna and Drake arrived separately. Rihanna showed up to the club around 2:00 a.m. while Drake followed shortly after at 2:30 a.m. Both left around 3:30 a.m., separately once again, five minutes apart.

"Rihanna and Drake were happy, not hiding and totally affectionate in front of everyone. At one point they were kissing and holding each other," another source told E! News. "They seemed very comfortable with each other. Besides for when he was performing, they didn't leave each other's side."

"They looked like they were having a great time," the eyewitness added.
