Picture yourself on a one-on-one date with Britney Spears.

From her long catalogue of smash-hit singles to her career in the spotlight, there certainly would be so much to talk about. Seriously, we could picture this meeting going on for hours.

But in the new issue of Marie Claire UK, the pop superstar admits that her celebrity status can't prevent her from experiencing a few no-so-hot dates.

"I had a really bad date. I mean, it was bad. I've been single for ages and had a date with a guy I liked. I was getting anxious, worrying he wouldn't like me," she shared with the publication. "We went to the movies, but I could tell right away it wasn't working. It was sort of awkward."

Britney continued, "So after the movie I came home and that was it. It just didn't work…He just wasn't that into me. I liked him. He knew that. But he definitely didn't feel the same. It happens to everybody. Being famous doesn't make you any different."

Speaking of feeling a little on the anxious side, the Las Vegas performer confessed to the magazine that moving to Los Angeles was an adjustment personally and professionally.

"Southern girls can be very hard on themselves because you are expected to act in a certain way, you are expected to please people," Britney explained. "And then I moved to Los Angeles when I was very young. I was so under scrutiny. If a hair was out of place, I'd be so anxious. I would get very anxious about so many things."

Today, Britney is "feeling good" about being single and isn't focused entirely on looks. She proclaims that her boys don't judge her because they "don't care if everything isn't perfect."

And she's also celebrating the success of her new album Glory. After performing at the 2016 MTV VMAs, the "Circus" singer was asked about forming her own girl group. We kind of love her picks.

"I think it would be me, Rihanna, and Kate Hudson," she shared on The New 92.3 AMP Radio. We support this 100 percent.
