Ariana Grande's MTV Video Music Award performance has us running to the nearest SoulCycle class.

While awaiting the results of her five nominations tonight, the 23-year-old songstress took a moment out of her seat to serenade the crowd with her Nicki Minaj duet, "Side to Side."

Kicking off the performance atop an exercise bike in a line of matching neon-clad dancers, the songstress showed the world that belting it out while pedaling on a bicycle is just another day in the life of a pop star.

The performance continued its '80s fitness theme when Minaj, sporting a pink latex bodysuit, arrived to rap her part surrounded by muscular male dancers pumping iron. Can this happen inside every gym?

It's safe to say the fierce duo stole the show from all sides of Madison Square Garden. Neither performer is an amateur when it comes to the VMA stage—the two collaborated with Jessie J in 2014 for their Grammy-nominated hit track, "Bang Bang."

Already an MTV VMA winner, Grande has 10 additional nominations to her name and is up for Best Female Video, Best Collaboration, Best Pop Video, Best Cinematography and Best Editing this year. As for Minaj, the rapper has three VMA wins under her belt and six more nominations.

The bonafide star has been teasing fans with sneak previews of tonight's performance on social media, fueling anticipation for the accompanying music video set to debut after the ceremony wraps tonight.

As far as we could have predicted from Ariana's Twitter and Instagram clues, we were in for a bevy of hunks. As for all of those bike emojis, it all finally makes sense.

If the music video is anything like the sexy show the ladies just put on, we're turning on the air conditioning because it's about to get hot, hot, hot.
