Nick Jonas' Performance at the MTV Video Music Awards Isn't Complete Without Ashley Graham and "Bacon"

Nobody enjoys feeling like they got snubbed.

But according to many music fans, that's exactly what happened to Nick Jonas when the nominations were announced for the 2016 MTV Video Awards. On Sunday night, however, the "Chains" singer proved he's quite the good sport when he appeared at the star-studded show to perform his latest hit.

Joined by Ty Dolla $ign, the dynamic duo traveled to Tick Tock Diner for their performance of "Bacon" off of Nick's latest album.

But wait, we spotted Ashley Graham and DNCE making a surprise appearance. But don't worry Joe Jonas. Nick didn't get as close to the model in comparison to your music video for "Toothbrush."

After the performance, Nick would cheer on his brother's band who was up for Best New Artist.

It's been an incredible year for Nick who has spent his summer traveling across the country with Demi Lovato as part of the Honda Civic Tour.

At the same time, the former Jonas Brothers member has found time to make some pretty unforgettable music videos including "Under You" with Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell as well as "Close" with Tove Lo.

Despite not having a chance for a moonman at this year's show, the 23-year-old was able to give himself a pep talk last month to remind himself awards are the clear deciders of whether or not you succeeded.

"Disappointed with the fact 'Close' got no love for the #VMAs2016," he shared on social media. "Actually after thinking about it more there are so many amazing things happening in my life and career. 9 out of 10 boxes are checked...Won't let this one thing get to me. I'm feeling so inspired and grateful these days."

Nick added, "Gonna focus more on caring less about the small stuff. Everything is awesome."

And so was that performance. Well done Nick J!
