Ciara is still rocking that newlywed glow!
The "1, 2 Step" songstress and NFL star Russell Wilson tied the knot in early July, but Ciara can't help but gush about life with her husband. E! News' Sibley Scoles caught up with the singer after she led a discussion with young women from I AM THAT GIRL and Keds in celebration of Women's Equality Day in Santa Monica, Calif., Thursday, where she opened up all about the changes that have been happening in her life.
Suffice it to say, Ciara couldn't be happier.
"Married life is the best life," she gushed. "it's definitely life-changing, and you do feel a difference between the stages of being boyfriend and girlfriend to being engaged to actually being married. You feel the definition of what 'being one' is, and it's really cool. Nothing compares to what this feels like."
Even though she and her husband have been married almost two months and have found their grooves, Ciara explained that it doesn't feel like the excitement will ever fade. "My new life changes that have happened with my son and being married puts more pep in my step because the foundation of my life is solid," she said.
"My foundation of my life is full of love, and I believe when you have love you can conquer anything in the world. Love breeds confidence. I feel the most confident self that I've ever been, and with that being said I feel supercharged and ready for my task ahead."
And boy does Ciara have a lot of tasks. From her music career to her hosting duties, to putting her son to bed or having date night with Russell, Ciara is learning how to balance it all.
"Life is eventful," she shared, "and I like it this way."
