Actress Ana Ortiz and Hector Elizondo are guest-starring on Friday's episode. The Devious Maids actress will star as Mateo's proud mother, Rafa, and The Princess Diaries star will play the character of the evil wizard Fiero.
"Spellbound" tells a story of a wicked wizard named Fiero who turns Elena's family into stone, Elena enlists the help of Mateo, her newly appointed Royal Wizard, to undo the spell and save her family.
Elena of Avalor is Disney's newest animated series that features Disney's first princess inspired by diverse Latin culture and folklore. The show premiered on July 22, and the network recently announced that they already picked it up for a second season. In its next season, we can expect to hear the voice of actress Chrissie Fit who will star as Princess Valentina.
The episode featuring Ortiz and Elizondo will air tomorrow, Aug. 26 at 7:30 p.m. on Disney Channel.
