There's a new A-list star in Jimmy Kimmel's neighborhood!

Kendall Jenner recently moved out of her condo and into a house of her own, and it just so happens to be across the street from the late-night TV show host's house. Kendall appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday to talk about her September Vogue cover, but she and Kimmel started discussing future plans now that they live so close to each other.

"I heard you're a chef, and I want you to make some food for me," Kendall requested. "I'm really offended you haven't invited me over yet for a welcome to the block kind of thing."

"Are you allowed to eat when you're on the cover of Vogue?" Kimmel joked.

After giving Kendall a "pity invite" to dinner, Kimmel revealed some not-so-great news about what the other neighbors think about Kendall's arrival. "Our neighbors were up in arms when you moved onto the block. There was a whole thing with emails that went on," he said. "It was bad!"

Kendall confessed it probably had something to do with her stalker making a "ruckus" on their block. "There's a lot going on," she said, laughing.

"The neighbors all seem to blame me for this development somehow," Kimmel noted.

But Kimmel didn't seem to mind once Kendall informed him that he's going to be put in charge of her safety, thanks to a comment she made to mom Kris Jenner. "'Maybe if anything ever goes does go down, he'll save my life,'" Kendall recalled telling her mom.

"I'm the captain of the neighborhood watch!" Kimmel quipped. "Don't worry, I'll shuffle down in my underpants and take care of whatever is going on."

Sounds like you're perfectly safe to us, Kendall!
