NGRE / AKM-GSIIt's safe to say that following her split from Liam Hemsworth in 2013, Miley Cyrus really fell into her own person more than ever before.
She took on a whole new sound in her music, started dressing in her own unique style, had no fear of posting eyebrow-raising photos and doing eyebrow-raising things (2013 VMA twerk fest, anyone?). But more importantly, she seems to have discovered who she really is and what she stands for all on her own, creating new experiences for herself and building this whole new persona that's full of feminism and independence.
In fact, now that she seems to have landed where she wants to be, it's no surprise she reunited with Liam...She's so confident in herself now that she knows she doesn't need to change a thing to be with him.
Just look at what she's been doing over the last few months and the proof is in the pudding:
She's Still Just Being Miley: The pop star posted this photo earlier this year, admitting that she's still the same, crazy, goofy girl as ever. "One time I had a HUGE pimple on my chin so I glued a bunch of cute s--t (flowers , butterflies , glitter, pom poms) to a bandaid and covered dat s--t upppp like a mothaf--ka," she captioned the funny photo.
She Still Wears Whatever the Hell She Wants to Wear: Only she could pull off a jean-on-jean ensemble with fake flowers sewn all over it and top it off with platinum pigtail braids! And if you don't think she can, who cares?! She certainly does not.
And Does Whatever the Hell She Wants to Do: For example, during The Voice premiere over the weekend, Miley hopped on stage and did a little country jig while convincing Darby Walker to chose her.
She Continues Promoting Her Love of Weed: Whether you think it's classy or not, Miley is going to forever share her love of smoking marijuana with the rest of the world...and no one can stop her.
She'll Always Be Real AF: Posting photos of tissues stuffed up her nose isn't anything that should phase anyone. Miley isn't afraid to get real, even when she's a "snot monster," as she captioned this photo.
She Still Flaunts Her Hard-Earned Body: Over the last several years, we've seen a lot of Miley...In fact, we've pretty much seen it all. Having a boyfriend hasn't stopped her from taking skin-baring photos because why would it? She's proud of her body, and she should be!

Her Tongue Remains Out: Yes, the 23-year-old is still the same girl we saw sticking her tongue out at the 2013 VMAs. It's just her thing, you know?
She's Still Raunchy in the Best Way: Miley isn't afraid to continue sharing posts like this...and let's be honest, no matter how eyebrow-raising the photos may be, our Instagram feeds wouldn't be the same without them.
She Keeps Dominating Life in Every Way: From her Happy Hippie foundation to taking on The Voice to totally killing the coaches' performance of "Dream On" for the show's premiere, Miley continues to be successful in so many ways...and that's something she's done all on her own.
