Mr. Robot is a show full of secrets. It's also a show full of Emmy nominations—six to be exact—but back to the secrets. There are layered stories so dense you probably weren't aware you were on the track of unraveling a big surprise. (Warning, spoilers follow.)

Take the season one reveal that Christian Slater, Mr. Robot and Elliot's dad, is dead and in Elliot's (Rami Malek) head. Or the most recent revelation that Malek's Elliot has been in jail for the entirety of the second season so far—that's seven episodes of the 12 we have in store. So, there are five more episodes of OMG moments coming—and then another season after that.

Now back to those Emmy nominations. The USA series has picked up nods for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Music Composition for a Series, Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series. Why isn't there an Emmy for Outstanding twist reveals?
