Jeana Keough is happy to be behind the gates and away from the cameras.
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star, who helped launch the franchise as an original cast member, has tried to stay away from the drama in recent years. But while appearing on Saturday night's episode of Oprah: Where Are They Now, the successful realtor couldn't help but look back on the dramatic show.
"I quit the show because it became not so favorable for me. I knew how to behave on camera and they didn't," she joked. "I don't think I missed out on anything by leaving."
"I felt like it kind of saved my soul a little bit because Vicki is so sad," Jeana continued. "How she's portrayed and how her boyfriend's portrayed and I would never want to be that sad."
As for that infamous confrontation at the season six finale where Tamra Judge threw wine on Jeana, it's all wine water under the bridge.
"Tamra had it all in her mind to do this. She knew it," Jeana shared. "She's like stomping around and doing her little acting bit. She just did it for drama."
Ultimately, the Coto de Caza resident has lots to be happy about including the arrival of her first granddaughter. Back in January, E! News exclusively confirmed that Kara Keough gave birth to her first child with husband Kyle Bosworth.
As you likely could imagine, Jeana is head over heels in love and may be spoiling her newest family member.
"What makes me the most happy in life right now is being surrounded by family and children," she shared. "I'm just excited to see the next chapter of my life. I want to live it and have fun and be fit, happy and healthy. That's all we can hope for."
