Fletcher family, meet the Rodgers family!

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers, who recently found love on The Bachelorette, were treated to an extra special surprise on Saturday night when their families came together for the first time to celebrate the couple's engagement.

The reality TV stars were initially under the impression that they'd be going to dinner with a few friends, but when JoJo and Jordan walked into the restaurant, a group of at least 14 were there to congratulate them in their new home state of Texas.

Fletcher, 25, shared a photo of her newly extended family on Instagram, writing, "My heart is so full! Jordan and I were going out to what we thought was just a little dinner with friends but instead walked into a room full of both our friends and family to celebrate in our engagement. We are so incredibly blessed."

Rodgers, 27, shared his own snapshot commemorating the moment with older brother Luke Rodgers, captioning the sweet photo, "When you think you are just going to dinner with your fiancé and a few friends and you walk into a room full of both your families and best friends!"

He continued, "So blessed to not only have found the love of my life @joelle_fletcher , but have an amazing family and new family to share a life with. So blessed to do life with these people!"

Noticeably absent from the gathering was Jordan's brother NFL star Aaron Rodgers, whose estrangement from the Rodgers family was a hotly discussed topic on the season. Instead of pushing the storyline under the rug, Jordan told E! News he was adamant in tackling the issue head-on with his wife-to-be.

"I hadn't seen the show before, so I didn't really have an expectation, which may be naive on my part," he said. "Family things are always tough, and they're always tough to address, let alone on a TV show. But I knew I made a commitment to go on there and be honest with JoJo and make sure that she knew everything because we didn't have any time off-camera and we were going to get to a proposal. So you have to be honest, you have to trust she believes in the person you are."
