A social media firestorm has once again brought the 22-year-old "Love Yourself" singer's relationships—past and present—into the spotlight.
After growing frustrated with nasty comments left by so-called fans on a photo of he and Sofia Richie, Bieber promised his Instagram followers that he'd make his page private "if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand."
Ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez apparently didn't approve of the message Justin was sending, and then she went and called Richie his "girlfriend" in an Instagram comment, even though he hadn't said as much yet himself.
She then posted a collage of herself with fans on her own page, hammering home her point. Then there came a back and forth in which Justin accused Selena of using him for fame and they both accused the other of cheating. There's been plenty of cryptic back-and-forth between the two over the years, but that went from 0 to 100 in record time!
Selena has since backtracked, seemingly apologizing on Snapchat by writing, "What I said was selfish and pointless."
Hailey Baldwin, who dated Justin for a while, weighed in on the drama as well.
