We're (once again) caught up in the Ashley I. of the storm and we've never been happier.
Rejoice, Bachelor Nation, as Ashley Iaconetti is officially back on Bachelor in Paradise, and is bring the waterworks. Obviously.
In E! News' exclusive sneak peek at tonight's episode, Ashley I. has just arrived in Paradise and already cannot stop crying, as Sarah Herron helpfully notes, "She's been crying since she got here." (Nick Viall and Josh Murray's rivalry. Daniel's Maguire's obsession with belly buttons...some things never change.)
The reason for the rainstorm falling from Ashley's eyes? Jared Haibon, of course, the object of her affection last summer on BIP season two, who is now dating Caila Quinn after their one-on-one date in Monday's episode. Yep, Ashley is handling it just the way you'd expect her to.
"Ashley just rolled into town, crying again," Carly Waddell, who was in Paradise with Ashley and Jared last season, says. "Always crying, running around crying." Sarah calls this time-around "soul-crushing" for Ashley, as Jared and Caila have strong feelings for each other, adding, "I think she's going insane."
Does venting to a parrot on the beach while touching up your make-up qualify as insane? Because that's exactly what Ashley ends up doing in the video above, telling the bird, "I thought of every bad scenario, I just didn't think of this. Like, this is worth crying over, right?!" She then accuses the bird of "always" liking Caila. "This is not the way it's supposed to go," she cries.
Oh BIP editors, we salute you.
Bachelor in Paradise airs tonight at 8 p.m., while After Paradise, the live aftershow, airs at 9 p.m. on ABC.
