Even though you might have thought of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge as just another Internet trend, it actually made a big difference. After all that ice dumping, $115 million was raised, in only eight weeks. Not surprisingly, another Internet challenge has rolled out called the #22PushupChallenge. Folks on social media are doing 22 pushups for 22 days in order to raise awareness for the 22 veterans that commit suicide daily. Similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge, participants challenge others to complete the workout and post their pushups to social media.

The challenge appears to be in support of an organization called 22Kill, which is aiming for 22 million pushups "To honor those who serve and to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention through education and empowerment," according to their website. Can't do a pushup? No sweat. 22Kill says they'll even accept air pushups as long as you record, post and hashtag a video to social media. Loves it.

Celebs like Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, The Rock and Candace Cameron Bure have taken to Instagram to post their challenge vids. The Rock has since challenged Kevin HartSimone Manuel and JJ Watt, while the Fuller House star went on to nominate her costars Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.

Scott Eastwood is also one of the latest celebs to get in on the good cause, doing a round of shirtless pushups for your viewing pleasure. The Suicide Squad actor nominated Ludacris saying "I'm calling out you Ludacris. I know you're hungover from Kevin Hart's wedding, so you better get down and give me 22." Ha!

Here's hoping this effort makes as big of a difference as the Ice Bucket Challenge. Put on your best Ivy Park, fire up your front facing camera and pushup into the sunset my friends.
