Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are a golden couple...literally!
The dynamic duo attended a birthday party for Samantha Hemsworth, Luke Hemsworth's wife, which seemed to have a gold theme. Wayne Coyne, lead singer of The Flaming Lips and Miley's tour partner, also attended the glittery soiree. Miley, Wayne and Liam really went all out for Samantha's birthday party, opting to wear sparkly gold spandex, shorts and jerseys.
Although it was Samantha's celebration, it might have been Luke who won the day, with his head-to-toe golden cowboy ensemble that even featured a holster and gun. This Hemsworth really outdid the others! If Luke's outfit wasn't enough to bring the theme to an over-the-top status, the attendees also happened to ride a gold horse statue outfitted with gold ribbons. Even the birthday girl made sure she had the opportunity to mount the metal steed, which was brought in by Luke on the back of his truck.
But Coyne gave Luke a run for his money in terms of themed outfits, as he managed to procure a pair of gold ram horns. Miley took her cue from the ongoing 2016 Rio Olympics, wearing a gold medal around her neck and a basketball jersey with the number 10 on it. No matter what you make of the theme, it's clear everyone was dedicated and spirited!
It's clear that Miley is fully ingratiated back into the Hemsworth family after the two became re-engaged earlier this year. The happy couple is much more private this time around, keeping social media mostly out of their relationship (with obvious exceptions) and choosing to live a low-key life together, but when they do give us glimpses it's always adorable.
Only a couple of weeks ago did Miley share a video of she and Liam performing a car duet to Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself," and it gave fans some serious #relationshipgoals. They might be keeping their personal lives personal, but that only makes fans love them as a couple even more.
