This baby news is sooo fetch!
Just when Lacey Chabert thought she was going to be pregnant "forever," the Mean Girls star announced the arrival of her first child with husband Dave Nehdar...a beautiful baby girl!
Chabert took to Instagram to share a photo of her sweet daughter, writing, "And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, 'Oh, there you are. I've been looking for you.' #TBT to the best day of my life. One week ago I became a mom to this precious angel. Julia Mimi Bella."
She continued, "Julia, you are my heart's deepest dream come true. I love you more than I could ever say. Welcome to this big beautiful world sweet girl!"
In the weeks leading up to the special delivery, fans got a sense of how excited Lacey was at welcoming a baby into the family. From finalizing the nursery to warning her four-legged puppy that a child was on the way, the actress was also more than ready to begin her journey of parenthood.
"#47weekspregnant OK not really, but seriously, for real...am I going to be pregnant forever?" she joked on social media. "Is this a thing that happens to some women?? This last week and a half or so is no joke! #pleasecomesoonlittlelady #readytopop."
Back in July, the mom-to-be was able to enjoy a baby shower with her best girlfriends including Beverly Mitchell, Amy Davidson and Haylie Duff.
The event, hosted by Good Carma Studio at Ocean Prime Beverly Hills, featured a blush-and-cream theme that Lacey's daughter will enjoy throughout her nursery.
"I was overwhelmed with joy to have been surrounded by so much love at my shower," Lacey shared with People. "When I look around at my group of friends, I realize how blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my life to support me as I become a mother."
Back in February, the Party of Five alumna confirmed on Instagram that she was expecting. In fact, her puppy was used to help share the good news.
"Kitty doesn't seem as excited as we are about this...I'm pregnant!!!! My husband and I are thrilled & so thankful" she wrote on social media before posting a photo of her dog making a fashion statement. "My mom is having a baby & all I get is this silly shirt."
