In between Bey performing to sell-out arenas on her Formation World Tour, the Knowles-Carter fam has been enjoying some well-deserved rest and relaxation aboard a private yacht in Italy. Aside from taking in the picturesque coastline's sights (and getting some swimming lessons from daughter Blue Ivy), the married couple recently got their feet wet with a joy ride on the open water.
A source tells E! News the music superstars departed from their luxury boat for a brief excursion on his-and-hers jet skis, before returning to eat lunch with the rest of their family. Both Bey and Jay looked totally at ease in their respective driver's seats, at times even catching some air along the way.
While the 46-year-old rapper opted for a more water-appropriate ensemble of swim trunks and a rash guard, his leading lady couldn't simply be bothered with changing into a bathing suit, and instead rocked a stunning floor-length jumpsuit in hues of gold for the adventure. (She is Queen Bey after all, and we wouldn't dare question her outfit of choice).
But to the pleasure of their diehard legion of fans, both Bey and Jay sacrificed style for safety with a pair of bright red helmets.
Of their Italian getaway, an insider close to the pair tells E! News, "[They] are having a great time away" and "seem to really be happy together," adding, "They have had many romantic moments."
With such a demanding schedule, the source says Beyoncé really needed time to "relax and unwind," and Jay has been showering his lady love with lots of affection. In addition to jet-skiing, the insider says that because of their love of Italian food, they've spent time "enjoying the cuisine."
Sounds like our kind of vacay!
