We can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be a parent at the 2016 Rio Olympics, but gymnast Aly Raisman's parents are giving us a good idea.

The supportive parents watched on as their daughter helped Team USA earn a qualifying score Sunday night, as well as nab a spot in the individual all-around competition, but they couldn't help but show their anxiety and nervousness. Raisman's mom and dad cringed, hid, swayed and covered their eyes in the stands as their daughter nailed her uneven bars routine.

Raisman's parents first went viral for their squirming at the 2012 London Olympics, becoming dubbed as the most sympathetic parents in the nosebleed seats. While others appear hardened and serious while watching the gymnasts (or other athletes) compete, Rasiman's mom and dad made no secret that no matter how spectacular their daughter is they can't help but get nervous every time she circles the bars.

When Raisman's dad, Rick Raisman, first watched footage of him and his wife in 2012, he told USA Today that he couldn't believe what they looked like. "I'm a little horrified right now," Rick told the newspaper's sports section. "Oh my gosh!"

"It's funny," Lynn Raisman added.

"At first we don't want her to know where we are in the stands so we're almost hiding," Rick continued. "It's just one of those moments. It's just so magnified. Every single twist and turn. It's just crazy."
