Before attending Caesars Palace's 50th anniversary gala in Las Vegas Saturday night, Calvin Harris was totally prepared to accept the Future Icon award. But as it turned out, special guest host Howie Mandel had a few jokes lined up including one about the DJ's personal life.
"That's a nice suit. Who's your tailor?" Howie joked in reference to Calvin's past relationship with Taylor Swift. "See what I did?"
Calvin responded with a smile, "You got that prepared, you had that one ready."
Ultimately, the crowd erupted into laughter as the DJ began to express how grateful he was to receive such an award.
"It's an honor to be here," he explained to the audience while also praising the hotel's Omnia Nightclub. "I don't do this thing that often. I don't receive these kind of awards very often either. It's a great honor to be here."
As pop culture fans know, Taylor is currently in a relationship with Tom Hiddleston while Calvin remains single. And before you think he is moving on with Tinashe, we went straight to the source for clarification.
"I mean, I'm still definitely single, so that's all that we're at right now," Tinashe shared with E! News this weekend after her performance inside Intrigue nightclub.
