Camila Alves is your backstage pass to the 2016 Olympics! 

The lifestyle entrepreneur will serve as E! News' Lifestyle Correspondent for the Summer Games, showing us the ins and outs of Rio with the insider knowledge and experience only a native can offer. Joined by quite a few special guests along the way, Camila will give us a glimpse into Brazil's rich culture, including the music, dancing, and nightlife scene. Additionally, she will take us on a unique tour of Rio and even try her hand at an Olympic sport.

This year's Games are especially important to Camila, who tells E! News exclusively she is grateful for Rio's opportunity to host the Olympics and to cover the big event for E!.

"It's such an honor to return to my home country of Brazil and to be a part of one of the biggest global events this year as E!'s Lifestyle correspondent. I am thrilled to take E! News fans inside Rio and show them what Brazil is all about!" she dished.

And Alves has already kicked off her own Olympic preparations, recently sharing with us her fun, affordable and easy tricks to host a gold medal-worthy celebration. Between exploring the tastes of Brazil, crafting eye-catching decorations and repping your fave country's gear, Camila takes the guesswork out of throwing a party and watching the world unite at the same time.

"I think the Olympics is one of the only events where even though countries are competing, they unite together in order to do the same thing," Camila shared. "It's a fun thing to see the best athletes from every country. It's a very, very special time."
