Shortly before Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne revealed that the Black Sabbath rocker was receiving treatment for a sex addiction, their son Jack Osbourne opened up about his parents' rocky marriage.

"They're working on it," Jack said Wednesday on Sway in the Morning. "You know, they're trying to rein it in. They've been together for so long and this isn't their first rodeo. They don't have this picture-perfect marriage, and they've never claimed to, so they're just trying to figure it out, I guess."

Jack hopes his parents will work it out, but no matter what he'll always have both of their backs. "Whatever happens my parents are still my parents," he said. "You just kind of support what you can and focus on whatever you can get done."

Sharon and Ozzy decided to separate in the spring after his affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh came to light. After time apart, the couple decided to work on their marriage and give it another try. Both Jack and Ozzy appeared on Good Morning America where Ozzy said he and Sharon were "back on track again."

Sitting by his dad's side, Jack shared his perspective not only on his dad's marriage but also his own. "As a married person myself, marriage isn't like, 'Hey we're married all is good,'" he said. "It's just life."

Although the couple is working on their issues, Ozzy admitted that there has and probably always will be ups and downs. "'And they both lived happily ever after,'" Ozzy quipped. "I'd like to find the person who wrote that and poke him in the eye with a burning stick."

He added, "Some days are good. Some days are terrible. Some days you just drift apart for a while but you get back on the horse."

In an interview with People, Pugh described her four-year romantic relationship with the star and said he "made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world." A rep for Ozzy said otherwise.

"Over the last six years, Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with a sex addiction," his rep told the magazine. "He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context. He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with."

The statement continued, "Out of the bad comes good. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy. Ozzy is mortified at what his behavior has done to his family. He thanks God that his incredible wife Sharon is at his side to support him."
