After a brunch with her sister, Cannatella spotted a few friends outside listening to a jazz band. At first, she thought it was a total coincidence, until she started running into more and more friends.

"At that point, I realized that the jazz band was following us and we had police escorts. Then [we] ran into more friends, who gave me a parasol. So we all danced down the street in the French Quarter until we reached Jackson Square, and my daddy and stepmom and more friends were there, and [John] got down on one knee in the park in front of the church with the band playing!" Cannatella said.
