Britney Spears may have a rocky history when it comes to romance, but that's not stopping her from continuing on in her quest for love.

The 34-year-old singer sat down with Australian radio show Rove & Sam on Hit 104.1 this week and explained, "Unfortunately I am...I am a hopeless romantic. I believe in love."

She admitted that she's been through the ringer of "horrible relationships," and while she may be a bit more reserved due to that, she still believes she'll find the one.

"I still believe in love and that sort of thing," she said. "But, I think you should protect your heart and stuff like that. But yeah I am a hopeless romantic. I believe in love."

So what kind of person would make the Princess of Pop fall again? Another hopeless romantic!

"I like cheesy," she said, revealing she still loves a good ol' love song mixtape. "I think cheesy is so sweet and nice."

Brit didn't harp on her previous relationships, but due to her major celebrity status, we've seen all the twists and turns of her love life.

She fell in love for the first time in the spotlight with Justin Timberlake, but after a few years together, the pair broke things off. While she dated several celebrities after that—and even found herself in one 55-hour marriage— her most serious relationship came when she dated and then married backup dancer Kevin Federline in 2004.

The couple had two sons together, Sean Preston and Jayden James, but ended up getting divorced three years later.

Her next serious relationship was with former agent Jason Trawick. They dated from 2009 to 2013, ending their engagement because they "wanted different things."

BritBrit went on to date David Lucado, a bartender from Thousand Oaks, Calif., who reportedly cheated on her. They ended their relationship after a year.

Finally, the Princess of Pop's last relationship was with producer Charlie Ebersol. They lasted 8 months, splitting up in June 2015.
