Now that the 12th season of The Bachelorette is over, everything old is new again.
At least as far as what JoJo Fletcher told us, after she had accepted a proposal but just as the televised portion of her journey was getting underway back in May. Obviously she couldn't answer the big question—"So, JoJo, are you engaged?!"—but she shared all sorts of other fun facts.
And she certainly seemed to be answering candidly when E! News' Carissa Culiner sat her down for an interview and an E!Q in 42, but in hindsight there could be so many reasons why her mom was the first person she talked to that day and how the last time she had cried had been a couple weeks beforehand.
We certainly knew already at the time why she preferred date nights in to date nights out—secrecy, of course—and why she was scared of getting her heart broken. That's one of the requirements for being the Bachelorette, after all.
But once again, hats off to JoJo for not giving it all away with her eyes and repeatedly leaving all of us—meaning E! News and every other outlet—none the wiser about season 12's eventual outcome.
