This weekend, Miranda Lambert was feeling the emotions.

It's been over a year since she and Blake Shelton announced their split after four years of marriage. During her "Keeper of the Flame" concert in Illinois on Friday, the Grammy Award winner welled up while singing her 2012 hit, "Over You"—the song she co-wrote with her then-husband.

The ballad was written in reference to Shelton's brother Richie, who was killed in a car accident when he was 24 years old and the Voice judge was a teenager. It went on to win the ACM and CMA Awards for Song of the Year.

Lambert attributed the tears to a "rough night," telling the crowd she was having cramps and feeling hormonal as she asked fans to sing along with her.

However, that wasn't the only time Lambert was overcome with emotion. While moving on to her 2010 track, "The House That Built Me," the tears returned. Fans were endlessly supportive of the star, sharing messages on social media after the show to cheer her on and thank her for an unforgettable night.

The country star was recently candid about her personal life throughout a difficult year, taking to Instagram to reflect on her brand new hit single, "Vice," which reached number one on the iTunes music charts.

"The last year of my life has been one of heartache and healing, ... Of learning to be honest .... Accepting the flaws and celebrating the smiles. Finding peace in dark places ... having some moments alone with me. Facing fears and feelings... All of them," she penned. "Music is medicine."
