Ever wonder what the United States men's basketball team does in the days leading up to the Summer Olympic Games? Sing along to Vanessa Carlton, obviously.

Less than one week until competitions kick off in Rio, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving and other teammates documented their plane ride where one song really got them moving, shaking and singing.

Turn up the volume because "A Thousand Miles" is about to begin!

"Cause I need you / And I miss you / And know I wonder," the group is seen singing. "If I could fall into the sky /Do you think time would pass me by. Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles / If I could just see you tonight."

While plenty of the athletes were totally into the track, one superstar didn't want to take part in the impromptu karaoke. As the camera panned to Carmelo Anthony, the New York Knicks star wanted a nap more than a sing-along.

"I feel ya," Vanessa joked on Twitter after watching the videos. "They did pretty well though x."

Teammate DeMar DeRozan added, "Melo ain't having it…"

Before participating in their first games in Rio, Team USA is participating in a pre-Olympic warm-up tour. On Saturday, they touched down in Houston just two days before their game against Nigeria.

Their first match in Rio is scheduled for August 6, just one day after the Opening Ceremonies air on NBC.
