It's time to pay up, Jimmy Kimmel!

One year ago yesterday, The Bachelorette contestants Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to go public with their engagement after the season finale aired. Debatably the most diehard The Bachelor/The Bachelorette fan around, Kimmel made them swear on a stack of magazines that they would stay together for at least a year—or else they had to pay him $1,000.

Booth, who is still engaged to Bristowe, took to Instagram Wednesday to remind Kimmel of his wager. Sharing the clip of the episode in which Kimmel made them swear, Booth added in the caption, "Double or nothing, @JimmyKimmel?"

"Look into this camera right here and repeat after me," Kimmel instructed the reality TV stars.

"We, Kaitlyn and Shawn B., do solemnly swear that we are in love, that we will get married or we will at least be together one year from today," the two recited.

"Because if we're not, this was a huge waste of everyone's time," Kimmel continued, telling them what to say while they cracked up at the words in the pact.

"Because if we're not, this was a huge waste of everybody's time, including ourselves," they wrapped up. "If we are not still in a committed relationship on July 27, 2016, we will pay Jimmy Kimmel $1,000."

Fair is fair, Kimmel! It looks like you owe this couple that money.

As for when they're actually going to tie the knot, well, fans might have to wait awhile. "The pressure doesn't get to us at all," Booth previously told People. "We only knew each other for ten weeks before I proposed. We're both normal people and the most normal thing we can do is wait."

"We're living together, we're enjoying being engaged," Bristowe added. "When we start to plan, we'll let everybody know!"

Perhaps they can put Kimmel's money toward the reception LOL.
