First an Emmy nod, now a tooshie trophy—the accolades keep rolling in for Tom Hiddleston.
The 35-year-old British star was just named the 2016 Rear of the Year, joining the ranks of fellow high-profile winners like Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe in 2015 and singer Olly Murs in 2014. Radcliffe told E!'s Marc Malkin he found the accolade "a bit strange," but added that he was "grateful" for the title. See, Tom—just take the title in stride.
In order to garner such an honor, the winners must be British and, according to the award's website, possess "prize-winning rear assets." The female winner of this year's Rear of the Year is 33-year-old English actress Jennifer Metcalfe.
Taylor Swift's beau certainly certainly flaunted his bare bum this year in an episode of the BBC television miniseries, The Night Manager, which he stars in alongside Hugh Laurie and The Great Gatsby's Elizabeth Debicki.
It was with Debicki that Hiddleston first revealed his unclothed cheeks to audiences on the small screen, dropping his suit pants during a passionate episode romp. It was so heated, in fact, that the scene was notoriously cut out of American airings.
"I was surprised to hear that they cut my butt out!" he told W. "I'm here to tell you that my butt is not dangerous. And there are many, many more dangerous things that people are happy to broadcast. I don't know what that says about the world we live in, but it probably says something."
Well, the world has just answered you, Tom, and it agrees—Hiddlesbum is now an award winner.
