Listen up, Potterheads!

The magical creatures have officially been released in the latest Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer, which made its debut at Comic Con on Saturday.

Where this sneak peak differs from previous iterations is its focus on the rare and endangered species that escape from eccentric magizoologist Newt Scamander (played by Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne), who comes to New York with his trusty weathered case that can obviously hold way more than it appears.

"Magical beasts are terrorizing No-Majs, and when No-Majs are afraid, they attack," says a haunting voice in the trailer, referring to the non-magic possessing characters in the Harry Potter franchise we know as muggles. Redmayne's character later fires back, "They're on alien terrain, surrounded by the most vicious creatures on the planet—humans."

During the panel in which the trailer debuted, Redmayne sent diehard fans into a frenzy when he kicked off the event by coming out onstage with his own wand. With the help of people dressed in costumes from the prequel flick, he then proceeded to pass out wands to the thousands in attendance.

But while Newt might be fearful of the U.S. and its wizphobia, it's Redmayne who is really nervous about the launch of the franchise. "The stakes are high because they were so good before," Redmayne told E! News  last September. "You don't want to screw it up."

And even Harry Potter himself has something to say about the highly-anticipated film. Daniel Radcliffe told us he's given his successor the stamp of approval, dishing, "I'm excited to see them, especially with Eddie. He's awesome. I think it'll be fantastic. I'm intrigued to see what they're going to do."

Well, that makes two of us! Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters November 18.
