Jon Gosselin plans to quit his job at T.G.I. Friday's after a photo of him at work was posted online, saying that the "trust" and "teamwork" is gone.

The 39-year-old, who rose to fame with then-wife Kate Gosselin and their eight children on the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, had faced public ridicule over the issue. Jon, who also works as a DJ, told E! News this week he took a job as a T.G.I. Friday's cook to help out a friend and donated money he made to charity.

He also said he plans to continue working at the restaurant whenever his "professional schedule allows" him to do so, as he's also taking care of his family. But he recently had a change of heart.

"I'm not going to work there anymore because now the trust and the teamwork is gone," Jon told Dallas radio station 103.7 KVIL FM. "Because now someone took a picture of me and sold it to TMZ. Thanks a lot, man! Now I gotta go through all of this stuff and now I gotta leave a job that I was passionate about."

The photo is a selfie that shows Jon with two other men. He told the radio station that he had wanted to remain anonymous. He also said he "really didn't make a lot of money" at T.G.I. Friday's.

"I just went in and did my cooking," he said. "[I] loved going to work, because when I don't have my kids, I don't really do anything other than DJ and work."

Jon's next DJ gig takes place Friday at The West End restaurant and bar in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Jon and Kate are parents to 16-year-old twins Cara and Madelyn and 12-year-old sextuplets Leah, Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, Joel and Collin.

Jon recently told Yahoo! he and Kate rarely interact and that their custody agreement allows him to see only four of his kids at a time. He told 103.7 KVIL FM he has not seen one of his sons in about a year and a halfs, echoing comments he has made in past interviews, and anticipates a court battle. Kate has not commented.

"Back to court," Jon said. "Yay."
