Ariel Winter has been spending time with an old friend recently.

The Modern Family starlet—who confirmed her split from longtime boyfriend Laurent Claude Gaudette last month—was spotted on multiple occasions with actor Sterling Beaumon over the last week. Ariel, 18, and Sterling, 21, attended the SkySpace Launch Party, stopping to pose for a photograph with their arms around each other.

An eyewitness tells E! News, "The two arrived at the SkySpace LA event together and left together. They were seen hanging out all night and it seemed like they were more than just friends.

The insider added,"They were definitely very flirty and always close to each other."

The former child stars have known each other for years, co-starring in a 2010 Nintendo commercial and subsequently attending various events together in the year that followed.

Beaumon is best known for his role as a young Benjamin Linus on hit TV series Lost, and has since landed guest appearances on Criminal Minds and Law & Order: SVU.

Since their recent reunion, Ariel and Sterling have been busy catching up, hitting celebrity hot spots like The Roxy and The Nice Guy with a group of friends. Beaumon shared a black and white snapshot of the duo from a recent summer night out together, captioning it: "Stay down with my day ones." They were also spotted enjoying a  concert in each other's company.

Quite a number of new beginnings are just over the horizon for the teen. In addition to returning to Modern Family, the actress will also start school at UCLA where she will be rocking blue and gold.

"It's an AMAZING DAY! I'm going to UCLA," she shared on Instagram with a photo of her online admissions page from the school's website. "Thank you to everyone who has been there for me on this journey! #bruinsbaby"

Winter will next be taking her talents to the big screen, where she'll star alongside veteran Burt Reynolds in the upcoming Dog Years. Arguably her most dramatic role to date, the outspoken celeb will take on a red-headed, tattooed rebel in the dark comedy about an aging movie star.
