Michelle Obama Mastered Carpool Karaoke: How Would Melania Trump or Bill Clinton Fare?

We'd love to see the future first spouse singing with James Corden on The Late Late Show

FLOTUS Michelle Obama was a total Carpool Karaoke pro, and she set the bar pretty high for any future first spouses going for a musical ride with James Corden.

We haven't seen President Barack Obama buckled in alongside the Late Late Show host for this segment (yet), but we're guessing James will extend an invite to him and whoever moves into the White House following the 2016 election.

Barring any major changes in the political climate, it looks like voters will be choosing between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton this coming November. Our next POTUS might not have time to fit in a Carpool Karaoke sesh in the first year of his or her presidency, but wouldn't it be great if our future FLOTUS/FGOTUS talked up a new White House initiative while rocking out in the passenger seat?

If Donald wins, Melania Trump will be our first lady. We don't know much about her musical preferences. We do know, though, that her hubby played a version of Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" at several early campaign rallies, so it seems like a solid Carpool Karaoke choice for Melania and James to run with.

We'd also like to see Melania do some Queen! The band wasn't thrilled when Donald walked out to the tune of their 1997 song "We Are the Champions" at the 2016 Republican National Convention, so Mrs. Trump singing it on late-night TV would be a little cheeky—and also comical.

Melania could also choose from any number of rap songs that name drop the Donald—like Kendrick Lamar's "Determined" ("Homies on the block can say whatever they want/ I don't wanna be a dealer, I wanna be a Trump/ Donald that is") and T.I.'s "I Need Dollas" ("Used to want dough like Jay Z but now I'm thinking Donald Trump").

As for who should make a cameo in Melania and James' Carpool Karaoke session? We're thinking Bret Michaels or Trace Adkins, both of whom were Celebrity Apprentice winners during Donald's hosting reign.

Now if Hillary wins, Bill will be back in the White House—this time as the first gentleman. We know the man plays a mean Saxophone, and nothing would make us happier than for him to bust it out for a jam sesh with James! We'd welcome an Arsenio Hall cameo (it was his show, after all, where Bill famously debuted his sax skills back in 1992) or maybe Katy Perry. The "Roar" singer was featured on Hillary's official 2016 campaign playlist, and she's also a big supporter of the Democratic nominee.

In 2011, Bill put together a playlist of his favorite songs (excerpted by Yahoo) which included everything from Van Morrison to Nina Simone. At the Clinton Foundation's "Decade of Difference" event, artists including Lady Gaga, Kenny Chesney, Usher and K'naan all came out to perform. Can you imagine Bill, James and Gaga singing "Paparazzi?"

All politics aside, we just hope the next first spouse is down for Carpool Karaoke.
