Kristen Bell is cool with just about anything Dax Shepard says.

In May, Dax appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and revealed that he'd gotten a vasectomy without first discussing it with his wife. Kristen appeared on the late-night show Tuesday and assured Jimmy Kimmel that Dax made sure it was OK to share the story on national TV. "He's very respectful in that regard," she said. "We're people like that like embarrassment. I think it makes everything a little lighter and brighter when you can be cool about your embarrassing stories. There are very few things I think that I'd ever say, 'Oh, please don't tell that story.'"

"Are some of them coming to mind right now?" Jimmy asked.

"No, nothing," the Bad Moms star replied.

Neither Kristen nor Dax are easily fazed. "Someone in the household is always nude, or the kids are always nude, or he's running from room to room as he's changing...It doesn't really matter."

Jimmy then asked, "Dax bolts around the house nude?"

"Sometimes," Kristen said. "If I'm lucky!"

"Does he ever go to the mailbox?" Jimmy wondered.

"I don't think so, Jimmy," Kristen replied, "but I can't be sure."

As for Dax's car masturbation story? Kristen said it was NBD. "After you have 20 experiences post-vasectomy, you have to check the batter and see if it's still active. He had one appointment that he could make, and he was driving across town, and you have to, like, put it in a jar. He was driving over Laurel Canyon and he realized he did not gather the specimen prior to leaving the house, so he had to gather the specimen in his car on Laurel Canyon in stopped traffic. You know what? That's a thing we did. I'm not going to attach anything negative to it."

During the episode Jimmy also wished Kristen a happy belated birthday.

"Well, you're in luck because it's still my birthday," the actress informed him. "In our household we have a rule that Dax made up, where it's your birthday until you decide it's not your birthday anymore. It's really good. Last year, it went well into September. He just made it up one day. He was like, 'No, it can be your birthday until you decide it's not your birthday anymore.' I was like, 'Perfect!' He doesn't go as long as I do. He usually goes, like, two weeks."

With a limitless birthday, the 36-year-old actress said, "You just get to make all the decisions, so you get to choose what we watch on TV, you get to choose if we go to the park or not, you get to choose what we eat for dinner—if we stay in, if we go out. You get to make all the decisions that basically affect everybody." Daughters Lincoln Shepard, 3, and Delta Shepard, 19 months, don't get to participate, though. As Kristen said, "You have to be over 18 for this rule to apply."
