Another Hollywood couple has decided to call it quits.
Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have decided to split after 10 years together, her rep confirmed to E! News.
The famous pair has rarely been spotted out together in several months. In fact, their most recent red carpet appearance together was in February for the opening of Joshua's Broadway play.
Some fans also speculated about the pair's relationship status when Diane appeared to celebrate her birthday last Friday without her main man. "It's my party and I cry if I want to #happyFridayeverybodyandthankyouforallthebirthdaywishes," she wrote on Instagram. "#anewbeginning."
After the couple first started dating in 2006, Diane admitted that Josh didn't exactly make the best first impression. "He talked about himself for an hour and a half. Nonstop," she recalled to Conan O'Brien. "He leaned in for a kiss, I swear to God, at the end, I was like 'Should I slap him?'"
As you likely could have guessed, a little time changed everything leading Diane open to getting engaged.
"I'm in love," she shared on Instagram when showing off a gorgeous ring. "Any man seeing this who's dated me for 8 1/2 years...in case you're looking for a gift for yours truly...wink, wink !!!"
But if you're wondering why the couple never made it to the wedding altar, Joshua was happy to explain.
"I can tell you why we're not married: We're not religious," he explained in the November 2014 issue of Glamour. "I don't feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party. We're both children of divorce, so it's hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you've grown up and are committed to another person."
